June in Waynesville: Flowers and the Start of Summer
June has arrived in the mountains, and Prospect Hill on Main is looking especially beautiful. The native flowers are beginning to bloom! We have blackeyed Susans, purple coneflowers, and daisies just to name a few. There’s something special about this time of year. The mountains are lush and green, Main Street is bustling, and guests are once again gathering on our porch to relax after a day of exploring.
One of the highlights of May was welcoming our first guests to the inn. Some guests even shared memories of Prospect Hill’s earlier days. One couple told us they remembered staying here years ago when the inn was operated by the Framptons. Hearing stories about the home’s past and the role it has played in so many people’s lives reminds us what a privilege it is to be the current stewards of this historic property.
